It's no different if someone saw Avengers 2 or 3 times at the movies.
When people donated to James, it was mainly chicken shit money they
were throwing away. Of course for some they gave away lots and lots of
money (not yours) to James. Did you forget the fans that paid certain
amounts will get a free DVD (when it does come out) and James's autograph? And when the movie does
come out on DVD, the people who didn't pay that certain amount of money to get a free DVD will only pay the money for the DVD and that's it. The AVGN movie is theirs to own, they can watch it for free all the time
they want. is that enough of an explanation for you?

It's very simple if you think about it, people like James Rolfe handle constructive criticism very well and don't act like stark raving jackasses about it. You seem to be forgetting one thing, Seanbaby hasn't done a video game review in years. how many of their game reviews are the same? (and by that I mean how many times did they review the same game?) how about I choose a bit of both because fuck you. James Rolfe didn't need to leech off Seanbaby to get to where he is, while Chris Bores leeched off of James Rolfe.

ReplyDeleteSomeone get CC a dictionary, producers can finance their projects anyway they want (within the law of course). CC description of what a film producers does fails economics. You spend money and get investors to make money, you can't pay for something if you already have it...

If by similarities you mean direct phrase rip (phrases that are not common knowledge), content steal and similar pacing... then yeah, that's not plagiarism as long as your delusional. The fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter if Irate Gamer or his Fanbase will ever admit there was plagarism. It does not matter if IRate Gamer picks up a schedule and sticks to it. It doesn't matter even if Irate Gamer writes next generation shakespear in caustic critic form. Irate Gamer is still trolling and harassing other people on the internet.
